Glossybox Review for September 2014

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of the month, September? My guess is summer is over and back to school right? Well, this September, the first thing that came to my mind was the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashana is also a time of giving and receiving gifts. The Marketing Team at Glossybox sent in their Surprise Beauty Box, a Shana Tova Card. I was very impressed and moved. Only in Israel.

September’s Glossybox was full of surprise goodies as usual. What made it different than other months were two large sized  bottle of creams. OPI Hand and Body Lotion and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner.

My hair is extremely dry from all the swimming and heat here in Israel so I thought a Deep Conditioner could help. After shampooing my hair, I put the Aussie Deep Conditioner on. I waited three minutes and felt the cooling mint relieving my itchy dry scalp. It was wonderful. Australian Mint Extract is one of the conditioner’s main ingredients, and it smoothes rough hair cuticles while restoring shine, Check out the difference it made. Sells on the site  for 44.90 NIS for a 250 ml size.

This OPI Hand and Body Lotion is a winner. This was the second product that came in a nice size. The cream felt cool and refreshing on my hands and arms with a light scent of Jasmine which I personally love. I have seen this cream at Nail Salons that I frequent. A 200 ml bottle costs on the site  65NIS.

Sebo Calm Cleanser is for sensitive skin. It felt very cooling on my face before and after washing it off. I did not use it for my eye make up just my face. It does not contain any Parebens or SLS. A 150 ml tube costs 79.90 NIS on the site.

Another cleansing cream that was in the box is Almond from Weleda. It had a pleasant scent. My skin felt good. The tube sample was quite small  A 75 ml tube, costs is 98.90 NIS on the site.

Next is lip gloss in a small tube of Mineraz Mineral Lip Cream in Topaz Passion in a light pink tone. A ten ml tube costs 72NIS on the site.lip

And last but not least, a small sample of the scent Clean Warm Cotton. I would have preferred it come in a spray atomizer. It is so much easier to use. Nevertheless, it’s a nice refreshing scentl. For a 60ML bottle, the price is 279 NIS on the site.
